Terms of Use

1. General

These Terms govern the use of the "Universe of Knowledge" game (the "Game"). By using the Game, you agree to these Terms. Operator: Khatuna Volodchenko.

2. Who may create an account

The Game is intended for children, but only an adult (a parent or guardian) may create an account and subscribe. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you consent to the child using the Game under your supervision.

3. Children's profiles

Parents may create children's profiles. A profile is pseudonymous: we recommend not using the child's real name as a nickname. You are responsible for supervising the child's use of the Game.

4. Subscription and payment

• Free access: part of the Game is available free forever.
• Trial period: the first 3 days give full access for free.
• Prices: €2.99/month or €27/year. Prices may change with notice.
• Auto-renewal: the subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time — access remains until the end of the paid period.
• Right of withdrawal (EU): you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract. By ordering digital content provided immediately, you agree that this right may be limited once the service has begun, as permitted by law.

Payments and subscription management are handled by Paddle (paddle.com), our reseller and Merchant of Record: Paddle is the seller of record for the payment — it processes the payment, issues the receipt and is responsible for taxes (VAT).

Cancellation and refunds. You can cancel your subscription at any time — via the link in your Paddle receipt or by contacting us; access continues until the end of the paid period, with no further charges. Refunds are handled by Paddle in accordance with applicable law (including the 14-day EU right of withdrawal, subject to the limits for digital content supplied immediately). 5. Rules of use and termination

It is prohibited to: attempt to hack or disrupt the Game, use it for unlawful purposes, or copy or resell the content without permission.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Game (in whole or in part) if you breach these Terms, misuse the Game, or act unlawfully. Where possible we will give prior notice; in serious cases access may be terminated immediately. You may stop using the Game at any time by deleting your account in the game.

6. Intellectual property

All Game materials (questions, design, code, characters) belong to the operator and are protected by law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive right to use the Game for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Availability, disclaimer and liability

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available". We make reasonable efforts to keep it running, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access: the Game may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, faults or works of our infrastructure providers (e.g. Vercel, Supabase), or due to events of force majeure. We may modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the Game.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for temporary interruptions, errors, loss of game progress, or indirect damages arising from such interruptions. These limitations do not apply to intent or gross negligence and do not limit your mandatory rights as a consumer (including in respect of paid services under EU law).

8. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. We will announce significant changes on the site. The current version is always here.
